We built Gift List because the existing registry tools were either tied to a single retailer, packed with ads pushed at our guests, or just plain ugly.

A registry should be a small, kind thing — a way to say "if you want to give us a gift, here are some things we'd love." It shouldn't lock you into one store or push your aunt to install another app to add a $40 toaster.

What we believe

• It should be free. No paywalls, no premium tier, no upsell to your guests.
• It should work everywhere. Any store, any retailer, any product page.
• It should respect everyone. No ads to your guests. No selling your data.
• It should feel like you. Beautiful themes, no clunky corporate templates.
