Is Gift List really free?
Yes. Creating registries, adding items, sharing them, and tracking purchases are all free. No paid plan, no premium tier. If we ever earn revenue from affiliate links on items you add, it costs you and your guests nothing.
Can my guests buy gifts directly from the original store?
Absolutely. Every item links straight to the store you picked. Guests click the link, buy from the retailer they already trust, then mark the item as reserved or purchased on your registry so nobody duplicates.
Do guests need an account?
No. Anyone with your registry link can view items and mark them as reserved or purchased without signing up.
Can I keep my registry private?
Yes — you can set any registry to private, in which case only people with the direct link can see it. Public registries are also discoverable from your profile.
Is there a browser extension?
Yes — both Chrome (also Edge, Brave, Opera, Vivaldi, Arc) and Firefox. Install it once and you can save any product to your registry with a single click — the title, image and price all auto-fill. More about the extension →
How many registries can I create?
